In Cedar Park, just north of Austin, the H-E-B Center has brought entertainment acts to the area for more than eight years. The 8,000 seat arena offers a more intimate experience when seeing acts like Hall & Oates, Lynyrd Skynyrd, or Brad Paisley. Take the family out for a fun evening at Disney on Ice, Cirque du Soleil, Harlem Globetrotters, or a sporting event. While the Austin area has no professional sports teams, at the H-E-B Center you can catch the Texas Stars, an affiliate of the Dallas Stars. The Texas Stars have only been part of the American Hockey League for just eight seasons, but have seen the postseason six times. Not a hockey fan? Head to the arena for a minor league NBA game with the Austin Spurs. November 2017 marks 13 seasons in the league for the Austin Spurs with nine postseason appearances and one D-League Championship in 2012. For a complete list of events and to purchase tickets, visit the arena’s website here.
