Discover Steiner Ranch: Are You A Steiner Whiner?

Be honest, which sign should be in your yard?!

Greetings, I’m Craig Smyser with 1835 Realty.  It’s that time of year again.  New signs are popping up in landscaping beds all across Steiner Ranch letting us know whose kids are involved with football, band, and just about every other activity at Vandegrift and Canyon Ridge.  I don’t know about you, but I often wonder about the parents of these kids. If the parents had signs out front, what would those signs have on them?  Sure, we could put employers like Dell or St. David’s but that’s no fun. I want to really know about the parents. For example, years ago we were saddled with the Steiner Whiner nickname. We all know there is truth to that, but no one admits if they really are a Steiner Whiner. But what if we could identify them with one of these in the front yard? A very simple, yet direct and truthful designation. Now I get that many of you would stick one in your neighbors’ yard, but don’t think that you need one. Well, I suspect that the vast majority of you are Steiner Whiners, but just a different type of Winer. Which is why you might prefer to use this sign. Sure I could just listen to the telltale sign of a dozen wine bottles going into the recycling bin, but these signs make it easier. Of course, some of you are both types of Steiner whiners, so these signs are reversible.  That’s right!  One sign – two sides. You just change it as needed. Or of course a friend might change it for you. Either way, these signs help to promote a sense of community as we get to know each other better.  For those who have lived here for a few years might remember the last time I gave away some signs. Yes, who can forget the fun we had when the HOA tried to stop kids from playing in the cul-de-sacs? I know some of you got letters from the HOA about those signs citing my advertising at the bottom. Well, lesson learned so these signs don’t have my name or 1835 Realty anywhere on them. However, I’m sure the HOA will figure out some way this is a violation so, once again, I take no responsibility if that happens.  I have a limited number of these signs available at no charge.  If you’d like one, just comment below and I’ll reach out to deliver it.  I’m Craig Smyser with 1835 Realty.
