Steiner Ranch is home to many business owners, including Mark Wells, a third generation pecan farmer. Mark credits his grandfather, “Doc,” for the family’s passion for pecans. Doc purchased their orchard along the Guadalupe River in Seguin, TX in the 1950s, and after his career as a dentist, began farming the pecans on his property.
