No Squeaks

No squeaks at home!  Many years ago I had a client who worked for a chemical company and his job dealt with lubrication.  Specifically, he said he spent his days trying to eliminate squeaks.  I was helping him with a new construction home purchase and he was building from scratch.  Generally, the builders don’t let buyers do anything to the houses while they are under construction.  But my client had an unusual request.  He wanted to go in after the builder nailed down the floor boards and screw them all into the joists.  Why?  Because he spent all day working to get rid of squeaks and didn’t want to hear them when he was at home.  The builder actually agreed and my client was able to squeak proof his home during construction.
