My First Sale

A double wide on an acre.  It was the very first home I sold as a brand new real estate agent.  I started back in 1999 outside of Houston in an office that did a lot of rural properties.  The listed this double-wide manufactured home on the acre with a price of $69,000 and I sold it for full price!  The couple that owned it was a lot of fun and I appreciated them taking a chance on the new guy.  Back then, we’d put photos of our listings in the office window and I have still have the original photo.  While I certainly don’t mean to disparage mobile homes, the reality is I quickly advanced to homes that are more expensive, but I kept this photo as a reminder that this is how I started.
