Can't Buyer At The Domain

You can buy a lot of things at the Domain, but a place to live isn’t one of them.  Often referred to as Austin’s second downtown, The Domain is a mixed-use development of just over 300 acres.  In addition to office space, shopping, and restaurants, there are residential areas.  But they are all apartments.  That’s right – not even a condo can be purchased at the Domain.  I’ve shared this tidbit of information with many potential buyers over the years.  They’re looking for a condo with lots to do nearby and the Domain fits that to a T.  But, sadly, the developers weren’t interested in having residential ownership.  So you’ll either have to rent an apartment or buy a property nearby.  Well, I guess there’s a third option.  If you have a couple hundred million dollars handy, you could buy one of the office towers and live there.
