The Texas real estate market had a great August, selling almost 10% more resale homes than that of 2017. While not as robust, so far 2018 has seen 4.0% more resale homes sold across Texas. When we take a look at the entire country, while still outpacing August 2017, August 2018 only say a 0.7% increase in the number of resale homes sold. Even with such a discrepancy in the number of homes sold, the median price saw a fairly similar change in Texas and across the country. Increasing 4.3% and 4.6% respectively.
