Craig Smyser

I am the broker/owner of 1835 Realty.  I obtained my Texas real estate salesperson's license in 1999, then my broker's license in 2001. My main focus is working with homeowners to sell their house, working with buyers to find the perfect home, negotiating contracts, and following contracts through to successful closings.  I have helped hundreds of clients with their real estate needs throughout my career.  I invite you to read the reviews my clients have written about me.

I used to hold a variety of real estate designations, but have given most of them up over the years. As a new agent many years ago, I obtained a lot of designations so it looked like I know what I was doing. Now that I am an experienced and accomplished agent, I simply didn’t see the need since most don’t have any ongoing benefits. I hone my skills now through private coaching and by taking a variety of education classes each year. Here are a few of the designations that I currently maintain:

Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES)
The CPRES is awarded to real estate agents who have a clear understanding of the probate process and how to sell property that is part of an estate.

e-PRO
To recognize real estate agents who are above and beyond the norm in the mastery of technology, the National Association of Realtors created the e-PRO designation. An e-PRO excels at implementing technology into the sales and marketing of homes as well as with buyers. Fewer than 10% of real estate agents are e-PROs.

Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI)
The GRI designation is awarded to real estate professionals who have completed extensive coursework laying a broad foundation in residential real estate sales and marketing.
