The National Association of Realtors (NAR) is downwardly revising home sale numbers dating back to January 2007. As it turns out, they were double counting some houses. So the housing market was actually worse than was previously thought. Miami Beach Condo Sells for Record $21.5 Million
A closing yesterday on Miami's South Beach set a record for a condo sale with a price of $21.5 million. The top floor penthouse has 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 5,803 square feet (that's $3,705 per square foot). The property was originally listed for $27 million last year by the founder of Netscape who paid $9 million for it seven years ago. Read the whole story here. If you are looking for a great Christmas light display, I suggest going to visit Chinati Court in Cedar Park. All twelve homes on the cul-de-sac are decked out with a dazzling array of lights.
