The August housing statistics were released late last week (the national numbers are provided by the National Association of Realtors while the Texas numbers are from The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University). Leander ISD Approves 2.3% Property Tax Rate Increase for 2010
The Leander Independent School District Board of Trustees voted to approved the proposed 2.3% increase in property taxes for 2010. The vote was 4 to 1. Voting in favor of the increase: Grace Jordan, Don Hisle, Pam Waggoner and Jim Sneeringer. Voting against was Lisa Mallory. Will Streit and Russell Bundy were not present for the vote.
