We found Craig though his website as it has a very easy way to look at homes based on our needs - it was no surprise that he was a former IT guy. His prior experince in IT industry was of great help for us since he presented listings with data driven market analysis. I am a sales executive with a Ph.D. degree and was very impressed with his technical sales skills with statistical market approaches. We flew to Austin to look at homes and he showed us a lot of them that met our general criteria. After looking for a while, he told us he knew what we wanted in a home, but that there wasn’t anything on the market that would meet our needs. We continued to look at homes on that trip, but he was right and we left Austin without a house under contract. He continued to look at homes for us over the next few weeks and we eventually found one that would work. After viewing it online, Craig walked through the house with us on the phone answering all our questions. We bought the house "without actually seeing the house" only based upon his recommendation. He wasn't like any of real estate agents we worked in the past who mostly were not patient with a very sophisticated buyer, my wife. Craig was always patiently described pros and cons with houses available in the market as a neutral third party and whenever we found one we were leaning towards, he didn't hesitate to describe cons with those houses. Finally, we told Criag that we will buy whatever he recommends because we trusted him so much. He recommended one house reluctantly because of the higher listing price than the market value but we took it without hesitation. He helped us pay less than what we were willing to by convincing the seller and its agent that the house wasn't priced right - again, his data driven market analysis paid off. We’ve been in our home for two months and absolutely love it, the neighborhood, and the school.
