Less than one square mile in area, Rollingwood is a small city just west of Austin.  It boasts some of the area’s most beautiful homes and has incredible access to some of the most popular destinations.  Rollingwood is served by Eanes Independent School District. For such a small city, Rollingwood has an impressively active local community. Rollingwood Women’s Club holds meetings once a month from August to May, and includes events such as self-defense classes, pool parties, and fundraisers for various charities. The Neighborhood Association hosts the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, barbecue lunches, and other events which have consistently maintained the wonderful sense of community of Rollingwood residents, and the city has one of the highest voter turnouts during election time, leading to a heavily involved city council.

Located just south of the Colorado River, with easy access to downtown Austin, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, and the Austin Nature and Science Center, this town of just over 1,000 has more to offer than may first meet the eye. The public parks include softball fields, a pavilion, and children’s play areas, the swimming pool is owned and operated by the Western Hills Athletic Club, and Lady Bird Lake is a mere stone’s throw away. If you are looking for a small, tight-knit, family-friendly community, then I would highly recommend considering the homes located in Rollingwood.

All neighborhoods in town are zoned to Westlake High School and Hill Country Middle School.  Although almost every Rollingwood home is zoned to Eanes Elementary School, there are no more than twenty that are zoned to Cedar Creek Elementary.  As such, I am not providing a school breakout search – simply use the city of Rollingwood search.
