Kicking for Cash

Although she didn't win, Ashlee Cloud was a crowd favorite. She represented the Legacies and kicked immediately after their halftime performance so she was wearing her costume, complete with boots. Here is a video of one of her kicks:

Vandegrift High School's annual "Kicking for Cash" is held during halftime of the first Viper home football game of the season. In this event, students kick field goals in an effort to win cash for various student organizations at Vandegrift. The students start kicking field goals from the same distance, with those who successfully split the uprights moving back until the winners have been determined. The top three kickers earn $300, $200, and $100 for their groups, respectively. Kicking for Cash is a fundraiser for the VHS Marching Band and I'm proud to be the sole sponsor for this event.
