Lake Travis ISD encompasses 118.2 square miles along the southwest shores of Lake Travis. It covers an area bordered by Mansfield Dam to the north, Travis and Hays county line on the south, the Pedernales River to the west, and Lake Austin and Barton Creek to the east. Lake Travis ISD serves the communities of Lakeway, The Hills, Briarcliff, and part of Austin.
