Designations

There are a lot of Realtors.  There are only a few great Realtors.  I hold some of the real estate industry’s most highly regarded professional designations.  I attend training conferences around the country each year to hone my skills.  I am dedicated to continued training and education to be sure I’m performing at the highest level possible for my clients.  Here are a few of the designations that I have obtained:

Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)

The CRS is considered the industry’s most advanced designation.  It recognizes Realtors for proven experience in marketing and selling residential property.  Only 3.5% of Realtors nationwide have obtained the designation.  To ensure that those with the designation continue to perform at a high level, this designation must be renewed each year.

Certified Default Resolution Specialst (CDRS)

The preeminent designation for Realtors who are skilled at handling short sale properties.  This isn't the most widely know distressed property designation, but it is the most important.

Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE)

The most widely recognized distressed property designation.  The objective is to help homeowners who are behind on their mortgage payments to avoid losing their house to foreclosure.  There are fewer than 13,000 CDPEs throughout the country.

e-PRO

To recognize Realtors who are above and beyond the norm in the mastery of technology, the National Association of Realtors created the e-PRO designation.  An e-PRO excels at implementing technology into the sales and marketing of homes.  Fewer than 4% of Realtors are e-PROs.

Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI)

The GRI designation is awarded to real estate professionals who have completed extensive coursework laying a broad foundation in residential real estate sales and marketing.
