Are you addicted to HGTV?  Are you looking to buy your first home?  Do you want your chance to be on a reality TV show?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might want to consider applying to be on HGTV's My First Place.  This popular show focuses on "the trials and tribulations of looking for, bidding on, and buying your first place—whether it’s a single-family house, townhouse or condo"  (apparently they don't want to focus on the good parts?).  The cameras will follow you for at least 10 shoot days over a 3-month period.  As a thank you, they'll give you a nice gift for your home when it is all over (plus, of course, your 15 minutes of fame).  The producers are looking for "fun and interesting people who are willing to share their personal and financial struggles during the home-buying process." 

They are looking for people buying in Austin as well as three other cities.  You need to complete the purchase by the end of 2010.  You can choose your own Realtor, and, as luck would have it, I'm available to help you!
